THE parents of a 24-year-old who has been missing for a year are preparing for the first anniversary of their son's disappearance.

Allan Bryant Snr and Marie Dugan are organising a vigil to be held outside the Glenrothes nightclub on Sunday evening where Allan Bryant Jnr was last seen one year ago.

His father said: "It's hard to even begin to imagine the sense of despair and anguish we've felt in this last year. Life has been a living hell, a daily nightmare."

Mr Bryant has not been seen since he left the Styx Nightclub at 2am on Sunday November 3.

His mother said: "Every day is torture for this family and we need closure now.

"We know now that we are not going to get good news but we need to know what has happened to Allan."

The vigil is to take place on Sunday at 6.30pm, and family photographs will be projected on to the wall of the club. The family expect as many as 600 to attend.
