A woman who resigned as Shaun Wright's deputy when he was refusing to step down as South Yorkshire's police and crime commissioner (PCC) has failed to become his interim successor.
Tracey Cheetham resigned when Mr Wright refused to step down over the Jay Report into child sexual abuse in Rotherham.
