A pedestrian who was hit by a van has died in hospital.
Thomas Easton, 53, was seriously injured on the A77 in Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, at about 9.30pm on Monday. Mr Easton, of Western Road, Kilmarnock, died on Thursday at Crosshouse Hospital in the town, police said. The driver had reported the accident. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
