Cathie Mustard, 74, was handed a good behaviour order after a sheriff said that he feared she could strike again.
Mustard was found guilty of hitting her neighbour's car following a long-running feud over a parking space in Coupar Angus, Perthshire, in November 2012.
She then attacked him because he was acting "the big man".
Mustard used her stick to assault 69-year-old Jackie Fair before turning her ire on his daughter and raining blows down on her.
After the pensioner was found guilty of assault at Perth Sheriff Court yesterday, Sheriff Michael Fletcher deferred sentence.
He said: "I am not so sure that I thought it was a one off and I suspected that it would keep happening.
"I am not necessarily sure the problem has gone away.
"I am not satisfied that this is the end of the matter."
