Pensioner road death

A 78-year-old woman has died and two others have been seriously injured following a crash involving two cars in Tibbermore, Perthshire.

The woman, from Perth, was a passenger in a blue Mazda.

Two other occupants of the same car, aged 82 and 83, suffered serious injuries and two other women in the car, aged 77 and 83, received slight injuries.

The crash also involved a Renault Laguna. The 24-year-old woman driver was taken to Perth Royal Infirmary suffering from shock. Her passengers, two one-year-old girls and a young boy, were unhurt.
