Pensioner robbed in home by two men claiming to be police

An elderly man has been robbed in his home by two men claiming to be police officers.

Strathclyde Police are appealing for witnesses to the "brazen and despicable attack" yesterday at 6pm in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire.

The 65-year-old man opened the door to his home in Kennedy Drive to two men dressed as police officers who said they were looking for stolen goods.
