Amy's mother experienced physical abuse from her father:
"I don't like my dad and my step-sister talking about my mum and if they are going to do it, then don't do it in front of me. And my dad, he just talks at you in a really patronising manner and makes you feel like two centimetres tall. I am scared of my dad and what he will do next. I mean the way he will talk to you and the things he says.
