Physios help save heart attack rugby player

A PHYSIOTHERAPIST'S swift actions helped save the life of a rugby player who suffered a heart attack on the pitch.

Jim Clarke, 51, was playing in a veterans match for Glasgow Hutchesons' Aloysians against Clydebank on Saturday when he collapsed on the turf.

Vicky Fletcher, 30, who was on standby at a match on another pitch, rushed to the stricken player's aid along with colleague Leigh Moore. Their swift action helped save the life of Mr Clarke who had stopped breathing for six minutes.
