Pilgrims told: Pay to see Pope

Scots Catholics are being asked to pay to see Pope Benedict XVI in Glasgow, despite the church insisting there would be no individual fees for the visit.

Parishioners have been told there is an expectation they should make a donation of £20 each to cover transport and the cost of a pilgrim pack with a CD and an information booklet.
