A RED-FACED golfer called police to report his clubs had been stolen – only to discover his electric golf trolley had driven off by itself and disappeared in to bushes.
The embarrassed golfer was about to play a round at the New Course in St Andrews, Fife, when the incident occurred.
The man called police to the Home of Golf this week after his top of the range clubs and expensive trolley vanished as he went to tee off.
