Firearms have been recovered by police investigating allegations of serious and organised crime.
The weapons were found in undergrowth in an area near to Branklyn Court in the Anniesland area of Glasgow at about 4.30pm yesterday.
Specialist search officers have been carrying out further inquiries in the area today as part of the ongoing investigation, Police Scotland said.
Detectives said the area is often used by dog walkers or people out running and are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything to contact them by dialling 101.
