Police probe after man's body found

Police have launched an investigation after a man's body was found in an Edinburgh park.

Officers were called to Victoria Park after the discovery at around 7.30am yesterday. The death is being treated as "unexplained".

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a man in Victoria Park in Edinburgh today. Inquiries continue."
