The drivers of 150 vehicles were stopped and approached by police in Glasgow as part of the operation on Thursday night.
Officers focused their work on the last-known locations of Ross Ramsay, 30, on the night of February 14 – Argyll Street, Charing Cross and Sauchiehall Street.
