An investigation was under way yesterday after a two-year-old girl left a nursery without staff knowing and was found standing in a busy road by a passer-by.
The child made her way out of Granton Children and Families Centre in Edinburgh after a gate was left open and was seen crying in the middle of a nearby road, which is a busy bus route.
