A castle which featured in Monty Python and the Holy Grail has been shut for a month after it was picked as the location of a major US TV series.

Doune Castle, near Stirling, is starring in Outlander, which is expected to earn the Scottish economy £20 million. As well as the 1974 Python film, Doune Castle was more recently used in Game of Thrones.
