An embarrassing fallout continued today after the flag of the wrong nation was displayed at Hampden Park in Glasgow, ahead of an Olympic women’s football match.
The South Korean flag was mistakenly shown on screen before game between North Korea and Colombia, and the insulted North Korean team, long-term adversaries of their neighbours, refused to take the field while the diplomatic blunder was resolved.
