VETERAN rockers Status Quo delighted their Glasgow fans with a string of their greatest hits as they took to the stage at the city's Hydro music venue.

The group's performance at the Clydeside arena was their penultimate show of 2013. They are due to play Newcastle tonight but will not be back on tour until they perform in Germany next March.

The show, which was kicked off by 10cc as the support act, featured famous hits such as Rocking All Over the World and Whatever You Want.

The Hydro opened in September with an inaugural concert by Rod Stewart.
