Rangers Football Club faces an investigation over alleged sectarian singing by fans at a match last week.

The incident is being reported to the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) by its match delegate Tom Purdie in his report on the game on Friday.

The Ibrox side won the away game against Raith Rovers, which was live on radio and television. The club's fans could reportedly be heard chanting offensive songs throughout the match.

The SPFL will receive the report at the beginning of the week and decide if any action needs to be taken.
