Rangers oldco is liquidated by judge

RANGERS oldco has been put into liquidation as a top judge said he was "very concerned" about allegations which questioned the integrity of the administration process.

Lord Hodge made an order to appoint interim liquidators to RFC 2012, formerly The Rangers Football Club plc, at the Court of Session after eight months in administration.

The Ibrox side has re-emerged as a newco in the third division after they were beset by financial woes over potential outstanding tax liabilites.
