Revealed: the public sector bosses keeping their bonuses

Wealthy quango bosses are openly snubbing the Scottish Government by refusing to pay back their taxpayer-funded bonuses.

Finance Secretary John Swinney last year called on chief executives of public-sector bodies, many of whom earn huge six-figure salaries, to waive bonuses received in 2009.

However, seven quango bosses have refused to sign up to the scheme.
