The 29-year-old former Celtic star, of Silverknowes Hill, Edinburgh, appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on breach of the peace and assault charges yesterday and pled not guilty.

Riordan to face abuse slurs trial
FOOTBALLER Derek Riordan will stand trial over allegations he was involved in a struggle with pub staff during which he uttered homophobic slurs.
