Romcom to close film festival

A FILM featuring the star of a popular US comedy is to close this year's Edinburgh International Film Festival.

We'll Never Have Paris is written by, co-directed and stars Simon Helberg, known for his role in The Big Bang Theory. The international premiere of the romantic comedy will close the festival on June 29. The film also stars Zachary Quinto, Alfred Molena and Maggie Grace. Chris Fujiwara, the artistic director of the festival, said: "With We'll Never Have Paris, a funny and very personal romantic comedy, we'll be able to close this year's festival on a real high note. It's a film of great charm and considerable intelligence, and Simon Helberg is brilliant in it." Helberg will be in Edinburgh for the premiere. He said: "It is an unbelievable thrill to be picked as the coveted closing night film at such a legendary festival."
