Celebrated chef Albert Roux is serving up foodies with some of the potential menus to be offered at Wimbledon hero Andy Murray's hotel.

Roux, known for his three Michelin-starred Le Gavroche in London, will be offering £45-a-head four-course meals at a series of events designed to help shape the fare at the tennis star's Cromlix House Hotel near Dunblane, which opens next spring.

Only eight covers are available for each meal which will be held at the restaurateur's Chez Roux venture at Greywalls Hotel Muirfield, East Lothian, on four days next month. Mr Roux said: "I'm bringing together the Cromlix team to perfect the menu we've designed for Chez Roux at Cromlix.

"I'm actively looking for feedback from the guests and will join them for discussion throughout the meal."

Chez Rouz at the Cromlix will be run by Darin Campbell, who joined from One Devonshire Gardens in Glasgow. Mr Campbell will also meet the tasters at Greywalls. Mr Roux added: "The menu is a result of collaboration and reflects us both. I will work closely with Darin, but will not write the menu."
