NEIGHBOURS have claimed vibrations from a chip shop's fryer are ruining their lives.
Two residents next to the St Andrews chip shop in Portobello High Street called officials from Edinburgh City Council to measure the sounds generated by the machine.
Heather O'Neill and Aitzaz Malik claim the continuous low-level movement is causing their homes to vibrate and creating noise.
