Rowling multiple sclerosis centre opens
JK ROWLING has attended the official unveiling of a multiple sclerosis research clinic, which is named after her late mother and was set up with a £10 million donation from the author.
The Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic at the University of Edinburgh was opened by the Princess Royal, who paid tribute to the "exceptional support" Rowling has given to this field of research. Rowling's mother died of MS aged 45. The facility aims to find treatments to slow the progression of MS and learn about other neurological conditions.
