Last week The Herald reported the turmoil at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (RSAMD) in Glasgow, where Havilland Willshire, the Dean of Music, was to leave his post and Bryan Allen, the academy’s head of brass for 16 years, resigned.
