Fife Council made the appeal as 10 whales stayed around the Queensferry area instead of heading to sea after a mass beaching.
The council said the bodies of the whales that died after beaching have now been removed from the coastline. The carcasses were winched to the top of cliffs at the Fife beach where the animals became stranded over the weekend.
