A PUBLICITY stunt that involved a model wearing a mini-dress made wholly from lettuce leaves was not sexist, animal rights campaigners have insisted.
Jenna McGuiness handed out vegan pizzas on behalf of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta) outside Holyrood yesterday despite a boycott by many MSPs. Independent John Wilson was the only one to attend.
Ms McGuiness has been voted the UK's "sexiest vegan" but Peta's Yvonne Taylor insisted: "We have a sexiest male as well."
