The Christ of St John of the Cross by Salvador Dali is leaving Glasgow on a six-month loan to the High Museum in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, to be the star exhibit in a show of the Spanish surrealist’s late works.
Slowly but surely one of the most famous paintings in the world was removed – albeit temporarily – from the walls of the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow yesterday.
