School facilities should play a vital role in realising the legacy of London 2012 and building towards the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, but many are tied up in red tape, sports experts said.
The warning comes after Olympic medallist Liz McColgan said this generation of aspiring athletes will see no legacy benefits from London 2012 because of a lack of facilities.
