Scot held over death of man in Tenerife

A SCOT is being held in connection with a murder outside a Tenerife nightclub 11 years ago.

Beverley Parkinson, 38, from Aberdeen, has been detained on suspicion of murder on the Spanish mainland following the death of another man on the holiday island in 2001.

Malaga Police said the man had been arrested at the time of the claimed attack, but was released four days later before the alleged assault victim died in hospital.
