The Government-funded Recognition Scheme was set up to ensure top collections are identified, cared for, protected and promoted to wider audiences.
Scottish Government Minister Humza Yousaf has urged Scots to see for themselves the historic artefacts held in museums and heritage centres from Stromness to Coatbridge.
