The Trust's Editorial Standards Committee (ESC) said that, while the Queen joke on Mock The Week had sexist and ageist overtones, it did not fall foul of the rules.

Scots comic breaks BBC “bad taste” rules
A "bad taste" joke about the Queen on a panel TV show did not breach editorial guidelines, the BBC Trust has found, but another quip made by Scots comedian Frankie Boyle was in breach of rules.
