SCOTTISH gymnast Dan Purvis and his GB teammates were given a standing ovation by the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry after they won an incredible bronze medal at the Olympics.

Purvis and his colleagues Louis Smith, Kristian Thomas, Max Whitlock and Sam Oldham became the first British gymnastic team to achieve a podium finish for 100 years, delighting the Royal brothers and the rest of the crowd as they defied all expectations to leave the arena with medals.
