Scots jobs boost as engineer ABB grows

ABOUT 120 jobs are to be created in Scotland as part of engineering firm ABB's growth strategy.

The figure includes 100 sales and engineering posts to be created in Aberdeen by the end of the year, while the company's project management office in East Kilbride is to treble its workforce to 30. Gary Steel, head of human resources and executive board member, said: "In the past two or three years we have rebuilt a lot of our oil and gas capability in Aberdeen."
