Scott joins LibDem oil row

THE row within the Liberal Democrats over North Sea profits intensified last night as Scottish LibdDem leader Tavish Scott criticised his UK party colleagues over the £10 billion raid.

Campaigning in the Borders, Mr Scott defended the aims of the tax hike but said UK ministers should have consulted the oil industry before the shock rise.
