Scotland's Baftas are being held tonight, with Lorriane Kelly receiving a special award honouring her 30-year television career.

The ceremony in Glasgow this evening will see her collect a trophy for her ''outstanding contribution'' to the industry.

Dundee-based Kelly anchors ITV's morning show Lorraine, which began as Lorraine Live on GMTV in 1994.

Outstanding contribution awards will also go to Tommy Gormley, a Hollywood first assistant director whose credits include the much-anticipated Star Wars: Episode VII, and Alex Graham, whose production company Wall-to-Wall is behind several hit programmes including Who Do You Think You Are?.

James McAvoy and Peter Mullan are among some of the screen stars nominated for the 2014 Bafta Scotland awards.

Sunshine On Leith tops the shortlist with five nominations, including best actor in a film, two nominations for best actress and best feature film.

Bafta Scotland director Jude MacLaverty said: ''We are extremely proud to be celebrating the work of such prestigious names in the television, film and broadcasting industries.

''Lorraine Kelly, Alex Graham and Tommy Gormley are leaders in their fields and we are honoured to present these outstanding contribution awards to them.

''Along with the high calibre of nominees, this year's British Academy Scotland Awards are gearing up to be our biggest and best yet.''
