Scottish fire service is first to go digital

Firefighters in Scotland can now communicate directly with their control rooms and other emergency services with the most advanced communication system in the UK.

Community Services Minister Fergus Ewing made the announcement yesterday which sees the analogue radios firefighters previously used being replaced with state-of-the-art digital ones.
