Three Scottish galleries are in the running to win the £100,000 Art Fund Prize for museum of the year.

The Riverside Museum in Glasgow, the National Museum of Scotland and the National Galleries of Scotland in Edinburgh are among 10 vying for the biggest prize for UK arts and culture institutions.
The National Galleries has been short-listed for its re-vamp of the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, while the Riverside and the National Museum are short-listed for their successful new capital building and redevelopment projects.
