A man has been arrested as part of an investigation into a sex attack on a 19-year-old woman in a supermarket car park.
The alleged attack happened in the Tesco car park in the Hardthorn area of Dumfries on September 7.
Police said that a 30-year-old man from the Dumfries area has been arrested in relation to the investigation.
He is expected to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court.
