STUDENTS in Aberdeen have created a new tweed uniform to be worn by staff at the Style Academy.

The third year students at Gray's School of Art produced the designs for the staff at the academy, which brings top artisans together in the Highlands and offers classes to the general public to learn arts and crafts.

Andrew Mellon, managing partner of The Style Academy, said the tweed and orange outfits were very modern with both fabric and colour currently hugely predominant in the fashion industry.
