Sir Chris tests out his track

Britain's greatest-ever Olympian, Sir Chris Hoy, described it as a "special feeling" after he enjoyed his first ride at the new indoor velodrome which has been named after him in Glasgow's East End.

The Scots-born six-time Olympic gold medallist and 11-time world champion said: "It was a very special feeling to ride the track for the first time today."Picture: Jamie Simpson
