OLYMPIC hero Sir Chris Hoy saw his earnings double last year after his company raked in more than £1.4 million.
Figures show the cyclist has struck gold off the track since his success at the 2012 London Games.
The Edinburgh-born racer retired from competitive cycling last year after winning six gold medals, including two at London, making him Britain's most decorated Olympian.
Latest accounts for his firm Trackstars Limited, which channels income from his commercial activities, show the company has assets of £1,402,703.
Trackstars' assets have jumped by almost £600,000 in the last two years.
Sir Chris, 38, owes £493,865 within a year leaving him with profits of £908,838 - more than double the 2012 figure of £429,294. The accounts cover the period up until June 30 last year.
Since his 2008 success in the Beijing Olympics, Sir Chris has been the face of advertising campaigns, including for Gillette, and launched a range of bikes.
Before winning golds at Beijing Olympics in 2008, he survived on £24,000 a year in Lottery grants and small-scale sponsorship deals.
This week he announced he is to become a professional car racing driver, joining the British GT Championship in a Nissan and plans to take part in the Le Mans 24 Hours race.
