A 13-YEAR-OLD has been picked by Sir Elton John to open his only live Scottish show this year.
Tallia Storm, from Glasgow, came to the attention of the singer after she met his partner David Furnish and asked him to pass on a CD of her songs. She was contacted by Sir Elton the next day and he invited her to perform at Falkirk Stadium on June 10.
She said: "I don't actually think I will take it all in until I am standing on his stage at Falkirk. Someone will have to pinch me for sure.
"I'm working really hard and rehearsing a lot to give it my all. That's the least I can do for being giving the opportunity of a lifetime from one my musical heroes."
