Slithery customer for garage staff

MECHANICS attempting to jump-start a car got a shock when they found a snake under the bonnet.

Garage workers in Kelty, Fife, called the SSPCA after finding the 2ft corn snake in the engine of a Fiat Punto. The reptile, who has been named Punto, is now at the Edinburgh and Lothians Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Balerno.
