Solicitor loses fight against cancer

A LAWYER who declined vital cancer treatment to take part in a 185-mile charity cycle ride has died.

Nick Stormonth passed away in St Columba's Hospice in Edinburgh just weeks after completing the Gran Fondo Milan-San Remo ride in Italy in aid of his new- charity, nico35, which was set up to support people battling cancer or inflammatory bowel disease.
