Amphicoelias is believed to have been the largest dinosaur. It was 40 to 60m long and weighed 122 tonnes.

The African bush elephant, measuring up to 7.5m long and weighing 6 tonnes.

Tallest animal

The giraffe, measuring up to 6m tall and weighing 1.6 tonnes.

The southern elephant seal, measuring up to 6.85m and weighing up to 5 tonnes.

Largest reptile

The saltwater crocodile, measuring up to 6m and weighing up to 1 tonne.
