TV star Anna Ryder Richardson said she doesn't regret buying a wildlife park after the firm and her Scots husband were ordered to pay fines and costs of more than £100,000 following an accident.

Colin MacDougall, who owned restaurants in Glasgow where they lived previously, was fined for breaches of the Health and Safety Act after three-year-old Griff Davies-Hughes and his mother were injured by a tree in 2010.

The celebrity interior designer said: "I have lost count of the time I've been asked if I regret buying the zoo.

"The honest answer is that I never had any regrets until now.

"Pembrokeshire is beautiful and the people are wonderful but, after this experience, if I could pick up the park and run away, I would."
