Stars out on cloudy night

ACTOR James D'Arcy took to the red carpet at the Glasgow Film Theatre for the UK premiere of Hollywood movie Cloud Atlas.

The star, who dons prosthetics, wigs and a myriad of costumes to play a number of characters in the film, attended last night's event as part of the Glasgow Film Festival.

Actors Sean Biggerstaff, of Harry Potter; Greg McHugh, of Gary Tank Commander; and Marty Docherty, of Still Game, also attended the event.

Cloud Atlas, which was partly shot in Glasgow, stars Halle Berry and Tom Hanks, and is based on the best -selling novel by David Mitchell. It features six related stories spanning from the nineteenth century to a post-apocalyptic future.
