CELEBRITY chef Brian Turner CBE, of BBC's Ready Steady Cook and Saturday Kitchen, has shared his expertise with student chefs at City of Glasgow College.

The students were preparing a three-course lunch for 60 industry insiders and invited guests of the Clydesdale Bank at the college's Scholars restaurant. Turner's menu of West Coast scallop pudding, noisette of Perthshire lamb with buttered cabbage and a white chocolate and raspberry trifle was designed to help students of Level 6 NQ in Professional Cookery pick up the basics needed to become professional chefs.
